In the US, one of the best ways to get involved with Habitat for Humanity is through a Collegiate Challenge trip. On these trips, small groups of college students travel to various locations to help with the efforts of Habitat affiliates with the greatest need. Your choice to help with one of these projects is extremely meaningful to those whom who are helping, and makes a big difference in the community
Specifics
We participate in four collegiate challenge trips a year, two over winter break and two over Spring break. The trip cost is $300 per person, which covers transportation, lodging, meals, and registration fee. We travel to warm locations, usually in the South (see below for past trip locations).
